Procedures:
1) Pick up "Conflict" Notes. 2) Watch Conflict video and complete the notes. 3) Cut out your notes and glue into your ILAN, please DO NOT waste the glue! 4) Complete your time on iReady, make sure all questions are completed on Canvas. |
Characterization
Materials:
-Character Trait list -FAST Notes -The Cay novel (textual evidence) -Glue -Scissors Procedures:
1) Glue Character Traits list in your ILAN. 2) Complete the FAST strategy WS for either Timothy or Phillip. Depending on how your class did on the pre-assessment on Literary Elements, you may need to complete notes with Mrs. Alford. ***Find 3 examples of FEELINGS, ACTIONS, SAYINGS, THOUGHTS! USE THE NOVEL AND PROVIDE PAGE NUMBERS!*** 3) Glue FAST WS in your ILAN. 4) On the title page of "The Cay" in your ILAN, draw what you believe the character you chose looks like. Be sure to use color and try your best. 5) Complete your time on iReady, make sure all questions are completed on Canvas. |
Malaria
Procedures:
1) Pick up a Malaria WS. 2) Go to the CDC for Malaria (Link found here) 3) Complete the drawing of how Malaria affects the body, and answer the following questions using only this site. You may also use the novel to help on the WS. 3) Turn into your class basket with your NAME, DATE, AND BLOCK. 4) Complete your time on iReady, make sure all questions are completed on Canvas. |
